• City of Santa Paula’s Offices will be implementing Work Furlough Days
  
  The City of Santa Paula announces that all City Departments will implement work furloughs one day per month beginning on May 27, 2011 through December 2012.

  In response to recent budget concerns, all City public counters and offices will observe temporary work furloughs during the next 19 months. This will include the Community Development building (Planning and Fire-Inspection Services), City Hall (Administration, City Clerk and Finance), Community Services offices (Main public counter), and Public Works office and Police public counter.
  
  Although most City offices will be closed during these additional days every month, the City’s Senior Center, Nutrition program, and emergency services for Police and Fire will continue to operate under regular schedules.
  
  The Santa Paula City Council and City staff appreciate the community’s cooperation and understanding of the upcoming changes.

  The City of Santa Paula is preparing an EIR for the East Area 2 Annexation Project. In compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the City is sending a document seeking public input on the content of the EIR. This process involves sending out a document “Notice of Preparation” often referred to as “NOP” to various agencies, affected property owners and interested parties.
